10W Laser line burns?

Having tried slightly different settings (work speed and laser power higher & lower ) I’m still getting horizontal dark lines :disappointed_face: . This is from picture mounting board/card. I guess I could keep on trying different settings but can’t work out why the middle area is working out just right. Any suggestions ?

Is it there in the preview as well?
I guess you need to exclude the faces in a own picture..

Is your firmware and Luban up to date?
There was a change of how the gcode is created and the machine works some time ago.

Both firmware & Luban are up to date. Have tried a different setting using Dot engraving. Result is much better but still getting horizontal ‘burn lines’ in the same areas but a lot fainter :+1:
