Y Direction Layer Shift After Pause/Filament Change/Power Recovery

Fw1. 8 I can confirm, the pause and power loss feature are broken.
Filament runout works normal without layershift.

I can also confirm that the pause function on Fw 1.8 causes layer shift.

I needed to pause 16 hours into a 20 hour print to re attach something that had come free from the bed. As can be seen in the image, after resuming there was an approx 1mm layer shift in the positive X direction. I only let it go on for one layer like this so that I could take a photo as any more would be a waste of time and filament.

Worst of all was that when I attempted to export the log files to send to support, the machine wouldnt recognise my USB drive and gave no other options for downloading the logs :frowning:

@Edwin is there any update regarding this issue? It seems to only occur during 3D printing as I have not had any issues when pausing and resuming in CNC and Laser modes.

Have you tried the latest firmware version V1.9.0? The firmware code has been refactored.
