Having to reach to back of machine, in amongst the wires in an enclosure is a pain. The touch screen is outside and easy to get to - a much better place, all of the time to get to swap out the USB stick.
Add a usb extension cord.

Good interim idea! (!!! Extra ! to get to 20 character limit)
I had a USB extension cable “Docking Station” that came with one of my USB sticks that I purchased a long time ago. I would imagine something similar would be exactly what you’re looking for. 3ft or 6 ft or whatever length for your needs but here’s a link to one on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Extension-Desktop-Docking-Station-98240/dp/B07BZV7GPS
I think this would be a great add-on recommendation to anyone purchasing the enclosure. It may even be something that SnapMaker could include. Maybe even include the ability to mount it on one of the side rails like they do with the stop button.
I certainly agree with kalmdown that access to the USB port with an enclosure in place is a hassle unless you install an extension cable as suggested by sdj544. To make things a little tidier, I designed a clamp to hold the end of the USB cable in place by utilizing the (left over) touchscreen bracket.
