That sounds reasonable. I have a fixed IP since I have the machine, and since firmware 1.11.4 I have literally never been asked again for screen authorization - and that is - what - a year now? Admittedly, I do not use WiFi but wired connection: Works: USB to Ethernet adapter - but I would be surprised if WiFi would change anything here.
