Let me add my SnapMaker2 Pre-Order story (so far) here:
First a little back story. I was furloughed from my job around the beginning of April due to pandemic. To keep myself occupied trying to find future hobbies because of my approaching retirement; I watched endless youtube “maker” videos. It was here I discovered the SnapMaker1 & 2, and how it looked like it would fit the bill.
6/5/2020; placed Pre-Order for SnapMaker2 A350 with extra materials. Made order with understanding that this was a “Pre-Order” and would not be shipping until September (after ALL BACKER orders were filled). As with all international orders I make, my order was paid through paypal with my credit card. This gives me a double protection of loosing money from mail fraud.
7/7/2020; received email from SM about change in shipping dates due to “COVID-19”. Shipping date changed from September to October.
7/9/2020; received email from SM to fill out my survey.
7/10/2020; returned survey and ordered enclosure and extra materials.
11/4/2020; received email apology for delay in shipments. New shipping date of November 9 – 15 2020.
11/10/2020; received email that order has been shipped. Shipping time 30-45 days, tracking number to arrive 25-35 days after shipping date.

Hopping it’s going to be a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I need this year to end on some kind of good note.

I ordered with Kickstarter and was hoping to receive end of February which turned into March which finally turned into July.
I started working from home in March and it was painful knowing that I had the perfect opportunity to be playing with it. Slowly work dried up (I’m in movie industry and until theaters start to re-open and new movies come out…) and finally furloughed a month ago.
Thank goodness for my SM. It’s definitely played a big part in keeping me sane.
Hopefully you’ll get yours soon! (and it will be a good one!)

I was informed mine was shipped by Sea and they have no way of tracking it till Fed-Ex receives it and it has been 2 months since they provided a tracking number to me. Why is it I was originally told it would be air shipped and now I am told it is by Sea and they can’t provide me any information till it arrives in the USA?
