Use SM as a drawing machine

Has anyone used their SM as a drawing machine?
If I designed and printed a pen holder to bolt onto the X axis, do you still need to connect a module?
What software can be used to generate the Gcode for the drawings?

Pen Plotter Module?

I’d love to see a pen plotter module for the 2.0 (something like the Axidraw). Would be relatively simple I think. Essentially a 2-axis device with a pen/pencil attachment for using one’s own pens. I wonder if it could be coupled with a digital knife attachment. I’ve seen a few DIY versions of the pen plotter using Velcro or tape. Would love to hear others’ thoughts.

I have designed a Vinyl Cutter attachment for the Snapmaker 2.0 bracket.
