U1 Issues with Extruder 1

Air is being printed even though the spool is empty. After unloading and reloading, the head prints again but only to get stuck again after 12 hours. Have other material manufacturers tried this and experienced the same issue?

Update with photo: Does this happen in the extruder, or is it a filament issue?

Both sides are meant.

Hi, it seems like more related to the filament.
Have you tested a different extruder or another filament?
Please also make both U1(V1.4.1) and Snapmaker Orca(V2.3.4) updated.

Should that read “the spool is not empty”?

I realise English might not be your first language. Leaving out the “not” changes the whole meaning.

This picture has no meaning unless one knows which side of the extruder drive wheels the blob is;
before or after?

I think this is a translation problem of this forum: it was printing hot air and the filament was not stuck on the spool. So the filament was stuck in the extruder but the nozzle was not clocked.

Do you see the grooves that the extruder has carved into the filament?
