Hi everyone,
I’m using a Snapmaker U1, it is a really wonderful machine. But I’m running into a bed leveling issue.
When I print larger models, some areas come out noticeably worse than others. After checking the Bed Mesh, I found that the bad print areas match the red regions on the mesh map very closely.
I’ve already tried a few things:
- replaced the build plate
- followed the troubleshooting steps on the Snapmaker wiki
- did manual leveling according to the official instructions
Unfortunately, none of these made much difference.
Because of this, I’m starting to think the issue is not simply caused by the four adjustment screws under the heated bed being uneven. It feels more like the surface is actually warped or slightly curved.
Has anyone else seen this on the U1?
How can I confirm whether the problem is the heated bed itself or the build plate surface?
And is there any practical fix if the bed is really curved?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
