Too much friction in filament feeder

Does anyone has the problem that there is too much friction in the filament feeder? I can literally hear squeaking sound from the friction when i manually tried to push and pull filament through the feeder.

Suggest to unload the filament of that feeder, detach the two tubes on the back of the feeder, detach feeder from printer (See here how to do it https://wiki.snapmaker.com/en/snapmaker_u1/troubleshooting/filament_feeder_replacement_guide), open the feeder with two screws and check inside, whether there is anything in the way of the filament path. May be some debris from old flament…

I actually already did that before posting. The friction cones from 2 magnetic balls which i assume is the sensor for detecting whether a filament has been inserted or not. It seems like the magnets are so strong that it causes too much friction.

You mean you don’t have this problem?

No. Not really. My filament is not a magnetic one  . You have this phenomenon with both feeders ?

My machine’s autofeeder makes a startup sound when it works. I’ve used it for quite a while with no special issues—it should be normal, just a bit loud.

As mentioned you get the usual sound when it first pulls it in which is louder but otherwise mostly silent. I had an issue with clicking noises on one side and I must have had something stuck in there because after pulling out the filament and reinserting the problem went away. Otherwise, I never really hear it during normal use.
