I was also thinking about using the clog sensor, something like - GitHub - markniu/Laser-Filament-Motion-Sensor: Independent laser motion sensor to sense filament clog or runout

This hole thing is snowballing into a next level single extruder that snapmaker never produced :slight_smile:
Especially if I can incorporate 3D Chameleon into this…

Considering this mod… is it still worth it these days with all the new printers that are out?

If you already have a Snapmaker, this is a worthy upgrade. Though, it’s probably not worthwhile if you have some extra cash and are already considering a new printer.
