Hi everyone,
I seem to be running into some software/firmware issues and was wondering if anyone else experienced this. It’s also entirely possible that I just overlooked an important setting - and if that’s the case, I was wondering if someone can help me fix this issue. (I just got this printer last week and am still learning.)
The issue I face is as follows:
In most cases, when I try to print a file directly at Snapmaker, the heated bed does not heat up.
The target temperature shown on the Snapmaker Touchscreen is 0, when:
- I try to print a file off a USB stick, or
- I use the Snapmaker Touchscreen to try to print a file that is stored on the device.
The target temperature shows the correct value and the heated bed heats up as expected when:
- I print a file directly via my PC. So, I set the target temperatures in Luban, then press the “Start on Luban” button.
- I send a file from my PC and open it on Snapmaker for the very first time. So, I set the target temperatures in Luban, then press the “Send to Device” button. On the Snapmaker Touchscreen, I then open the file and start the print. The target temperatures are then shown correctly and the heated bed heats up. However, if I stop the print and then try to restart the print on the Snapmaker Touchscreen by selecting the same file (rather than sending the file from the PC again), the target temperature for the heated bed shows 0 and the heated bed doesn’t heat up. If I use the “Adjust Settings” option on the Touchsceen, I can adjust the heated bed temperature and the bed heats up accordingly - but as soon as I then leave that screen and start the print, the heated bed stops heating and cools off.
(I am using a Snapmaker A350T with the latest firmware and Luban 4.6.3.)
Anyone else having this problem?
Any ideas how I can fix that?
Thanks for your time!
