Before I upgrade versions of Luban and screw everything up is there a “Stable” and non issue version of Luban or do they all have their issues. I don’t use it very often due to Lightburn but I have been using Luban because of the Rotary but it has problems and kinda messed up in a couple of ways. Won’t run boundary, just a straight line and it also won’t open saved projects. I currently am running 4.3.2 Any advice is helpful.
I would stick with 4.3.2. That’s the one I’ve lsnded on as well. I find it very stable, and don’t see any benefits of going higher (unless you have 20/40W laser).
I think this is going to pretty heavily depend on which machine you have. I am on Luban 4.1.4 since it was the last stable version for the 2.0 machine and 10W laser before the Dual Extruder release starting messing up all sorts of stuff for people, and virtually all changes after 4.4.0 have been related to the J-series, Artisan, and 20W/40W lasers; all unnecessary for me with just added complexity to the software making it less stable. I keep an additional install of the latest version to assist other people with troubleshooting, but I never use it for my own projects.
