Snapmaker A250 liner Z dont moving

After buying and assembling the machine, the liner Y does not move. I checked the linear movers by connecting them to other control sockets, they are alive. I checked the connection socket Y on the controller itself by connecting other liner Z and X to it, the same problem, they do not move. Please advise what can be done. Maybe there is some way to switch the socket control to an unused socket

Contact support@snapmaker.com . They can dispense alternate firmware and/or replacement parts (in this case, it sounds like you have a bad controller).

thanks for your reply. But support is silent

Give them a couple of days, then try again. They aren’t the fastest bunch, but they should respond eventually. Unfortuantely, there’s little anyone else can do (unless you want to try hacking the firmware yourself—it’s on Github).

Maybe someone knows how to change the code in the firmware and use an unused socket and reconnect the axis Y to it?

Making changes to the firmware is non-trivial, and most people aren’t going to be enthusiastic about doing it for free for someone else. Keep in mind that no one currently posting to the board works for Snapmaker—we’re all ordinary Snapmaker owners like you.
