Snapmaker 1.10.1 Changelog Clarification

@Alan : One of the improvements listed is:

Lower the initial height of the nozzle after Auto Leveling.

I just want to confirm what this means please. Either:

  • There is just less distance the user needs to move back down to set the correct nozzle height, at the end of the multi-position leveling procedure? OR

  • You are making any alterations to how you set the final bed level (e.g. any built in offset between what the user sets as the “right” level and what you move the machine to, when you begin printing, has decreased)?

I ask because I calibrate ‘hot’. If the intent is just what I described first then no big deal, I just don’t have to drop the position typically by 11 0.5mm steps before I start fine-tuning.

I’m hoping it’s just for the calibration and not the second.
Because if anything people are finding they’re needing more offset for printing.

Hi, the initial height of the nozzle at the last point #9 during Auto-Leveling is lowered. You don’t have to tap Down as many times as before.
