Setting the z-offset before a print

Hello, I’ve been wondering what happens when you set/change the z-offset from the SM2 touchscreen during a print (i.e., not during calibration). Is this change static and will persist during my next print? or does it get reset after each print? or a reboot?

Also, does anyone know what commands to run to reveal where the z-offset is? I’m thinking maybe M420 but I’m not quite sure…

I’m printing calibration cubes and wanted to know if I could dial the z offset by just slowing adjusting up and down.

Thanks!

Z offsets done via touch screen during a print will stay to the next print

i dont know about using luban for it as much
