Being the idiot that I am, I put the steel strip back in wrong, and it got a bit rippled. I’m guessing it’s had it, and I’ll need a new one. It’s working, for now, but just not sealing properly (and a little noisier). I’m just wondering if maybe a bit of heat might help it return to it’s original flatness?
You probably don’t want to use it until you replace the steel strip, which you will need to purchase from Support. Using the Linear Module as it is will damage the carriage inside and make things significantly worse. Use the Support link at the top of the page and navigate to the Support box, where you can open a Support ticket. They should be able to get it to you in anywhere from a few days to a couple weeks.
If you’re just using for 3d printing it’s no big deal for now.
If you’re doing cnc I’d definitely wait.
If you’re doing laser, I wouldn’t do too much.
