Rotary Harmonic Drive Version vs. Earlier version?

So, I ordered the SM Rotary (Harmonic Drive Version) for my Artisan. The unit I received says the rotary is for the A350, and the rotary model number is: 71012.

Did I receive the earlier version of the rotary module (from a couple years ago) or is the 71012 model the newer harmonic drive model.

The box doesn’t have any indicator that it’s a harmonic drive version, and it doesn’t say Artisan on it…it only says A350.

Thanks for the assistance.

Someone posted that they had asked Snapmaker support about it and they said that the original 2.0 rotary unit is the harmonic version.

Hello!

What is the difference between this 2 versions?
Greetings

I received a response from SM Support. Here’s the response.

"Thanks for reaching out to Snapmaker.

The bundle includes the rotary module and emergency stop button for snapmaker 2.0.

The only difference is the emergency stop button.

Regarding your questions about rotary module, we only sell 1 type of rotary module at the present.
We only modify the name of rotary module which strengthens the feature of harmonic drive.

The product is the same."
