I haven’t actually tried (or even ordered) it yet, but I plan on upgrading to the Snapmaker 2.0 F350 in about a week. One frustrating problem I sometimes have with my current printer is when there is a power outage (or even just a quick blip) printing directly from Cura using USB (not using a SD Card). The printer stops, and does not ask to resume. Snapmaker 2.0 F350 claims to have a power loss recovery feature. Is this applicable when printing from directly from Cura? Is it applicable when printing directly from Luban? Or is it only applicable when using an SD card or USB thumb drive? I prefer printing directly from Cura so that I need to minimize the number of files transferred & can cancel the print from my computer rather than use the touchscreen. I would also be fine using the WiFi feature to print directly (my current printer does not have WiFi, so this is not applicable yet). Any ideas?
You need to print from the touchscreen to be able to use the power loss feature.
You could drag and drop your gcode file to a wifi transfer script (somewhere in the forum, by members) and start the job directly on the touchscreen.
Unfortunately there is no other way to use the power loss feature.
