Makes me wonder the future of the product…
HA - think “making good support” was also on the roadmap
I have it from an inside source that they thought Trello wasn’t being used by enough people to continue to invest the time it took to keep it up to date. @whimsycwd , would you like to verify that? I can understand that but they should have made a statement to that fact instead of just quietly removing it. As stated above, it does erode confidence that they are going to continue to be viable into the future.
I had reported to the forum admins that it was down, kjc said “we will look into it” a couple of days ago to me in a pm
It wasn’t really a great place to see progress of information, at least as much as it could be.
I will say that the github software side seems to be pretty active though.
Wasnt used by enough ppl? (Thanks for at least some kinda of info btw ) Does it even have any kind of that tracking info? Im not sure what that means … we werent even alowed to make comments on stuff if i remember correctly. I wish there was some platform where they would be regulary active to give us some sense of possibility to make the Snapmaker 2.0 better, to see new progress, critical issues being answered and so … and that Roadmap was for me personally closest to that so im very sad its gone.
Im not here for long but i expected a bit more … were they always so silent or its only because some holidays or there is platform (“general” one so excluding github) where there is more about what is happening? Maybe language barrier is part of the problem and something in theirs native language exists?
(Sorry if it sounds too stupid or rude, i have language problems too )
We share your sentiment.
We all work together and the more savvy people will raise issues in github about firmware software stuff and they are quite active on there anyhow.
They where pretty active in the forum till kickstarter fulfill.
People’s flaming made them gone, I guess.
well thats a good point, i have been pretty harsh with my criticism on a number of occasions.
its just a passion issue… i really want to love this machine and it has so much going for it and so much potential.
I see, sadly bringing this type of machine to general public also has a lot of negative consequences. I wish Snapmaker team will eventually figure out some balance between communication and mental health + financial side of things because there is great potential. Also this is not their first product of this type so i was kinda hoping some of those problems will be away by now but we live in weird age overall i suppose
Hi, Tone
@JKC20 will restore the (Public Roadmap) thread. Sorry for the confusion. Your feedbacks are valuable.
For the progress about software, please check our github repo. It’s synchronized with our internal development.
Hardware projects are much heavier than software developments. I would suggest a quarterly update.

Hi all, a quick update on the Snapmaker Public Roadmap. It’s back online and we’ve made some slight adjustments. We will update it accordingly and periodically and added descriptions for the cards. Thank you all for your feedback and let me know if you have any questions by PMing me or posting here. : )

How do we get access to vote on the items?
You have to create a account on trello.
@xchrisd I’ve tried this over the past couple months, an account still does not allow you to vote. It’s set to members only, so only those 2 current members can vote on stuff now.
@ZERO00 @Tracy @W_Jing could we please get the Trello updated. There hasn’t been anything since April.
Hi @Artezio Thanks for your remind. I will report the feedback to my colleague who is responsible for this. Thank you for your attention.
