Problems with printer

Hey guys,

Since short, I’m a proud owner of a second hand Snapmaker A350. It includes: 2 x single extruder, 1x double extruder, 1,5W laser, 10W laser,40w laser, 60w CNC, 200w cnc, air purifier, quick swap system, enclosure…I’ve made a good deal on this full package! And I’ve bought the infrared laser as well!

Now, I know a lot about 3d-printing (this is my 5th printer), so I think I know what I’m doing.

The first print failed…I extruded 50% of the first layer and then stopped extruding, printer kept working! Changed the extruder, same problem, changed the extruder to the double extruder…same problem.

Used Luban, Prusaslicer and Orca as slicer, nthing worked, kept doing the same…

What could be the problem?

So just the extrusion stops but movement continued?

Is the nozzle cooling down? Or is the extruder gear stopping?

If it occures on multiple heads in the same position, it sounds more like some gcode command and not a defect?

That was my first tought as well…
The fun thing is… I have the dame problem with my prusa…

The extruder gear stopped, so I guess it’s a gcode problem…

As first pick I would suggest to raise the live z offset to a higher value (I guess your nozzle is too close to the bed).

Were you watching when it failed? The 2.0 had some issues with the filament location that caused binding. In those cases, the filament gear turned, but was unable to pull the filament through. IIRC, a lot of people relocated the filament spool to a better location.

the z offset is at the right height…

at this moment, the filament is hanging above the printer, rolling free…

May share a video?
Does the extruder stops spinning?-May share a short test gcode where the issue appears?
May share your logs?
