Im not getting the expected results from CNC with the rotary module using custom STL files. The results are really blocky / angular but the STL mesh is not (the machined result looks polygonated or low resolution). It doesn’t matter if I turn up the “image density” or lower the step over. You can kind of tell what it’s supposed to be, but its almost unrecognizable.
What would cause this? The STL came from a good source and was touched up in Blender. It shows up fine in Fusion360 as a really nice mesh.
I can attach images and files if it’s not immediately obvious what the issue is. Hoping its just because this is my first attempt and I missed something.
