Hi folks,

I was the user, here’s a video of my A350 misbehaving:

What caused the confusion was that I tried to follow the “Update Firmware Via Wi-Fi” instructions described in the manual and in the forum post above, but the "Settings > Firmware Update " menu item wasn’t visible on the touchscreen, and I assumed that meant that it was already up-to-date (as is the case on some phones). Apparently, the Wi-Fi Firmware Update functionality just isn’t implemented in some early firmware versions, you need to flash via USB…

Hi there,

Thanks for sharing it with us.

In the meantime, our firmware and software engineers and product manager are working closely to solve the issue.

The safety of the users is always our priority.

Team Snapmaker

I updated my A350 once and now it lost the ability to retain the Wi-Fi password, I have to enter it in every time I connect to it. I’m quite reluctant to do anymore “updates”.
