PCB milling (Gerber to GCode)

Hello,

Anyone was able to convert gerber to GCode that snapmaker2 (Luban) understands?

Tried http://copper.carbide3d.com/ and https://www.galaad.net/coppercam-eng.html without much luck.

Try out flatcam. I made a walkthrough video to show how to go from gerber to gcode. Hope this helps

Hi Guys,

I can’t get my SM2 to even start milling.
Followed above video with FlatCam but when I send the file to SM2, file is received but on selecting start nothing happens.
Please assist.

You’ll need to provide more info. What does the gcode look like, what are you doing exactly etc

Thank you for your prompt response, I actually was documenting my steps for the reply only to test and it worked.
Not sure what I was doing wrong, but thank you for making me retrace my steps and get the whole process right. :blush:
