Is there a setting to pause the Print on a specific Layer to change Filament Color i did´nt find an if there is´nt is there a plan to add this function to the Luban Software
I manually add a M600 command line in the generated GCODE file before the layer you want to change color.
This will trigger the “runout of filament” process so you will be able to unload, load new filament and resume your print.
Test it first on a small object.
Note that the first layer might be labelled as “Layer 0”
This Function is standard in the most Slicern why not in Luban? But thanks for this hint
This is an important feature I miss from my Flashforge days. Can we see a “pause at layer” option added to Luban please? This is important for color changes or the embedding of mechanical objects (magnets, threaded fasteners, etc.).
Thank you!
For anyone using or interested in using PrusaSlicer with Snapmaker:
You can use the “add color change” + button on the virticle layer slider to add a pause. This will use gcode M600 as mentioned above. It will send a “filament runout failure”. This allows you to change color or add a something like a magnet or nut to the print before continuing. No gcode editing needed.
