Hi,
the problem is, that only support structure is extruded and not the actual object. Except that the actual object is printed with support material (PVA). But the printing starts with the material (PLA) ment to the actual object but it only prints the “surroundigs” and then switches to support material. Left nozzle is for support and the rigth for the actual object. What should the settings be ?

Perhaps the PLA nozzle is clogged? Did you check that it extrudes material when you use the “Load filament” function?
Also, if the Z-offset is too low for the PLA nozzle, it might block filament from coming out - carefully check by adjusting manual Z-offset on the fly.
When the printer changes between PVA and PLA, do you see the tool change? The right nozzle should move up or down on tool change, and the print head should move a bit in X so that the nozzles change position. If this is not happening, your Slicer did something wrong. Make sure you assigned an extruder to the object, and another extruder to support.
Btw. a tipp: Do not print the complete support in PVA (if possible), just print an interface layer with PVA. I got much better print quality this way.
Hello Hauke,
the PLA nozzle is not clogged, and it prints first for whatever reason a short period of time a “surrounding line”. Then it moves up and nozzle that should print the support takes it’s turn – and will not give it up to the nozzle that should print the actual object. Does it matter which nozzle is for support and which for “normal” print ? I have dedicated the left one for support and right one for the object itself (and of course the materials accordingly).
What do the helpers on the bottom left corner do ? No matter what settings I use there is no difference.
I wonder if I should install the Luban 4.10.2 again for a fresh start.

Hmmm - that’s indeed strange. It certainly does not matter which nozzle is used for which material - you can freely choose. Waht you describe sounds a bit like the main object is “deactivated”… I’d go through your slicer settings with an open mind, and also check the preview. If the object is missing in preview also, it certainly is some slicer setting. Worst case: Try a different Slicer.
Hi,
it really is strange ! When I slice it and there is this little “window” stating “Line Type” and if I tick the Extruder L off, the printable object disappears alltogether, there is two surrounding “paths” printed with Extruder R and that is all. I suppose, that the supports are generated automatically - or are they !?
I tried to slice in Cura, but there it will print at the same place with both nozzels even though it shouldn’t. So I only get prints with support material. I uppgraded the firmware to the latest, but in vain.
Frustrating !

Hi,
I just got back from sauna (it is a great place to clear one’s thoughts ). There must be a place, where you can dedicate each nozzle to, say a different color. But where and how. When I did the calibration, everything was ok - black and white was printed correctly. But those models were ready to print.

Thanks Rwide.
That helped. I must say that “button” is very well hidden . I almost lost it already !
Thank You very much !
