No more laser preview image

Hallo zusammen,

Hello everyone,
Since the update to Luban 4.9.1, I no longer get a background image created when lasering (10W / 3 axes) if the thickness is more than 0.8.

I’ve been using the A350T with 10W laser for a long time now and haven’t had any problems with it for a long time.
Even trying to install an older software version was unsuccessful.

Does anyone of you have an idea?

thx

Did you upgrade your machine firmware too?
Luban 4.9.x needs the latest firmware because of changed gcode controls.

If everything is up to date I suggest to reset the machine settings by M502 and M500 in the console this made sometimes the trick in the past. Record your settings before if you did any modifications.

Thanks for your idea,
Apparently I have installed the latest firmware on the Snapmaker. And it still doesn’t work.
Do you have another idea?

I have now received a response from Snapmaker.
It seems to be a software error.

Mail:

Hello,

We’ve identified this as a software bug and will address it in the future versions of Luban. If this is affecting your daily usage, please roll back to the old version first.

You can find the older versions of Luban on this page: “Snapmaker Luban Downloads and Updates.”

If after installing older version, the issue still persist, please click on “Reset Configurations” on the toolbar, as indicated in the picture below:

After clicking “Reset Configurations,” please wait for about 15 seconds. Luban will automatically restart and complete the process.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience.

Best regards,
