The new update for the Luban software ( 4.10.1 ) does not show an image of the support structure after selecting Generate Auto Support. The older versions did. Luban still gtenerates the support structure in the print, but it does now show the rendering on the screen. How come?
On a similar note, trying to add or delete supports doesn’t seem to work in version 4.10.1. With generate supports turned on in settings it will auto generate supports. opening the supports menu from the right tool bar gives options to add or delete supports but nothing seems to change when you select some area with the brush for either add or delete. With generate supports set to none, then select the support menu, click generate support all, doesn’t seem to do anything either. In this version it seems any manual editing of supports isn’t working. Maybe I’m missing a trick?
Cheers,
David
I am having the exact same issues with the auto-support/painting supports. If I let Luban take the wheel it throws supports everywhere, and gray’s out all the options to fix it too!!!
It also does not show the support in my setup with v.10.1
Truthfully, I’d recommend trying a different slicer. Prusa slicer and orcaslicer have given me a lot better results with support generation for single and multi extrusion modes.
