New linear modules problems with full distance

I just remembered a past article and posted a link to it the other day.

When the Z-axis is configured with the old version of the linear module, it is instructed to update the firmware (as shown in the picture above, it asks you to update the firmware of the linear module), so I can guess that the new and old 8mm can be used as long as the firmware of the controller is up to date.

There was a glitch in the one released at that time.
The firmware that was addressed was released within a week, and you can try downgrading with the older firmware around that time.

This is the next version of the firmware that was first released to support the new 8/20mm module.

Sorry I don’t remember which version.
I think it is worth a try.

From your video it does not appear to be controller damage.

I would guess that the most suspicious thing is the firmware.
