I am trying to print a model (at 200% size). When assembled, the model will be ~23" tall. I got to the end of the cape and I can’t send the G-code to the workspace with supports. I have loaded it to the workspace at normal quality without supports (which wouldn’t actually be able to print due to the shape) but I can’t get it to load with supports. I have tried to print it at multiple quality levels. Luban is up to date. I generate the G-code, it slices, then I don’t see the data on the bottom right and I don’t see the second processing bar. This has happened a few times but after a while, I was able to load it to the workspace. I let this one sit overnight but it still didn’t load.
With the developer tools, Luban will record the user movements and that would be helpful. Could check the records after you slice the model. Here is an image for your reference.
So what information am I getting to you and from what tab (assuming the network tab)? Is it a file that I am sending you? Your reply really doesn’t tell me anything about what I actually need to provide to you other than it is in developer tools. Seeing how I can’t provide screenshots in this response, it would be helpful for you to tell me what actual data you need.
The model that I am using can be found here
It is part #11 that I am having trouble printing. As I stated above its size is 200%. I am able to get it to slice and load without supports but it will not load with supports.
I tried to copy and paste the error that I got through the developer tool but I kept getting an error on your webpage. It is probably because the error is too long.
How big is the part you are trying to print?
It is a little over one square in on both sides.
I’m having a similar issue. I can slice the file but the Load G-code to workspace button remains greyed out. The file is large and highly detailed. The dubug screen stops at the “printing definition” step and throws the following error:

Sorry for the late reply.
I have forward the log to our software team and they are looking into it.
Do you use Snapmaker Luban 3.15.1 or other versions?
Edwin
Versions prior to 3.15.x would crash on slicing this model. The errors are from 3.15.1
I am using 3.15.1. I have only recently purchased the product and I have not used any previous versions.
1347-11-11_cloak_2_FDM (repaired) is the file that I can’t get to load to workspace. When you scale it up to 200% you have to rotate it diagonally to get it to fit on the print-bed. You can orient it so that it is at least one square in from the outside line.
Does the model print if you save the gcode to a file?
Could you load this file to Workspace directly?
Is it able to print with usb thumb drive?
I can’t. It goes through the slicing, then it sits there and then it does nothing. I let it sit overnight to see if I just needed to give it extra time.
Unfortunately you have to use a other Slicer than Luban, like Cura, S3d, Prusa Slicer,…
Its a known limitation of Luban.
I could slice the model for you if you are not able to do so with cura.
I ended up cutting it in half in Blender and it is printing now. I still am want to know what the upper limit of Luban is.
If it is very large, Luban cannot send it to workspace.
As for the upper limitation of Luban, we have not tested it yet. Once we get a result, we will share it in the forum.
