Luban Software doesn´t work anymore

Hi all,
The Luban program opens and closes again directly.Came the day before yesterday evening abruptly
I tried to transfer the gcode for CNC data via USB, because WiFi not working in CNC…
Then the program closed by itself. Tried to install the software several times, also tried other versions.
Performed a registry clean Put it on another partition: nothing worked…
My System is a Windows 10 Pro with Norton 360.In the event viewer it says:

Help is highly appreciated

That sounds not so good - Best you reinstall your PC i think

The error you shared appears to indicate a permissions issue.

Is it possible that Norton is blocking permission?

Looks like the error message is telling you how to fix it

i guess luban sucks so bad that norton thinks its malicious. nobody would willingly install such a bug laden mess on their computer - its bound to do serious damage, norton will keep you safe. :joy:

the article wants you to do some regedit stuff, hopefully its as simple as all that.

i hate dealing with that kind of stuff. I like working on computers but when it gets into these funky deep seeded permission things that are not following the settings you configured because something happened to some file someplace or it hit some reg key or whatever - they are so damn stubborn to get rid of sometimes.

i have a stubborn ass server at work that i am all the time battling about domain configuration stuff with. such a pain in the ass especially when it isn’t your specialty.

Sorted out some things… but nothing helped. Now i need to make a clean install.
Don’t know what happens, but looking forward for a fresh System!
Thank you for you help

Or Norton sucks equally bad.
I gave up on Norton a while back. Felt like it was causing more problems and issues than it ever solved. By the time I reduced it’s level of protection so it wasn’t annoying me it didn’t seem like it was giving me much protection.

Norton is a joke. no question about it. i havent used it in probably 10 years, maybe its a little less obnoxous now, but its not really necessary anyhow.

OK, I´m still alive  sorry for answering with delay.

Solution: do a quick fresh install … !

Right now I´m still online and mark this thread as solved!
Thank you all!
