I have yet to use the CNC functions as after setting up the machine and loading up the Phone Holder project if I click to create tool path - Luban Crashes. I get this and no further answer.
What OS are you using? What kind of hardware, hopefully something more powerful than a potato.
I never saw Luban crash on even my 10 year old Windows 10 machine. I don’t see the phone holder in the preset files though, only some snapmaker line art.
I uninstalled the App and ReInstalled - seems to be working now. On Mac OS Sequoia 15.6. Deleted the app folder and reinstalled. I had done this previously but had this issue lingering. It is now solved.
It may have been an issue with updating the OS but I had tried previously just it kept crashing at the point of tool path creation. To see the demo projects - go into the File tab and down to Case library.
This was a basic fole from snap maker to engage the CNC - Cura I am not sure does CNC processing as Slicing is more for the 3D Printer. I have been using Snapmaker’s references - this board and curiously trying to integrate for Affinity and the XTool Creative space in place of Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop for Graphics creation editing and SVG support
Macbook Pro 2019 Sequoia 15.6 - a very silver Intel running potato indeed, but something got wonky as updates and reinstalls were not successful. I did finally get it running and no broken bits like my first Fusion to SN 2.0 CNC went. Looking to revisit that project with a few years of added info.
