Hi, so first time using the CNC function of the office’s snapmaker 2.0 A350.
Our issue right now is that we are trying to carve with the CNC, something in an acrylic piece, that is 248mm wide by 299mm tall.
So we set that size in Job Setup as our workpiece size, we click accept, we see the area resize to the correct size, but then when we send the file to the cnc, when it checks the safe area it goes over to 400x400.
Also, if we click on Job Setup for a second time, the workpiece area changes into 400x400.
And it kind of drives us crazy
What are we doing wrong, or is it a bug? It seems that it doesn’t keep the workpiece size and its driving the bit far out of the material area and into the clamps.
It seems you configured a other machine than a A350, the size is less than 400x400mm, maybe you set the Artisan as machine model?
Did you set the work origin on your model correct?-Maybe center
Did you set your machine work origin to the center of your work piece?
For security I set the correct work origin on the machine and then jog it up by let’s say 100mm and set it again to see if there is no collision.
Printer is set as A350, with the work area in the settings appearing as 320x350.
The work origin is set to the center of the work piece.
