I have 4 small pieces of wood, is it possible to create a template or profile so that I can quickly add text to each piece of wood. It would take up to much time to have to set up the process for each piece of wood and engrave individually every time.
By the time you try to align four different pieces of wood on the work surface and create the graphic to match you might as well do them individually. If you’re using one piece of wood and cutting them out of it it’s a different story.
If you’re just using luban it’s easy enough to change the text for each pass. If I’m doing multiple pieces I’ll just put some blue tape to mark placement and line up my object to that.
But your best bet (most control) would be to create the files in a graphics program and create each one separately.
For simple lettering and text - Luban interface works well in my experience.
Do a photo capture of the bed, and simply put the text at the correct place. I believe there is a walk throughin the quick start guide that followed the machine.
Since it will be the exact same places as you say, you will not need to update the photo capture each time, just make sure not to remove it
