I would like to laser several identical items and after each completed part the Artisan returns to its starting position.
Can I use Luban to set somewhere that the laser only moves 10cm backwards, for example, so that the part can be replaced and then restarted?
I thought this could be done via the Work Origin, but it moves back in the same way?
Am I too stupid to find the setting, or is it not possible with Luban?
Would you mind posting an example gcode file and a small video of what it does? It’s a lot easier with Lightburn to do repeatable setups, but I’ll try to help with Luban the best I can.
When you switch on the Artisan, it wants to be moved to the starting position. It always returns to this position when it has finished a job. However, I would like to be able to set it to move backwards just a few centimetres so that the new part can be inserted. That should be possible, shouldn’t it? It’s pretty stupid if it moves completely up and back every time and then moves completely down again.
Am I just too blind to find this setting, or does it really not exist?
If not, this function should definitely be added to Luban!
