Does anyone know roughly how long the laser engraver last before needing to be replaced?

It’s driving me nuts that even after several hours of searching I don’t find the source anymore but i think they stated at least 3000h (or more likely 5000h) until the laser reached its lifespan. Given the fact that even cheap laser modules are specified with 10000h of operation that is even a pretty moderate estimation of lifetime. Once I found the source I will link it here.

I found it odd that they suggested a spare laser module, since i hadn’t mentioned the laser at all. So they may not think much of its longevity.
I felt that the 3dp module was a fair price to be honest. i didnt have much opinion about the other modules.
I would just wait for the 7 watt version over ordering that personally.
