Is there a speaker anywhere on the 2.0?

Yes a syringe i was thinking something along those lines as well.

I was thinking maybe if we had a hopper system that would liquify the wax and then pressurize the chamber it could be possibly done in a controlled fashion, but man that is tough.

Next time I visit the foundry I am going to ask to see the new wax printer they got to see how it works!

Couldn’t the feed hopper be pretty much the same as a plastic injector for injection molding? But instead of a handle to pull for injecting, you would just use a stepper motor?

The Zmorph, the only other larger print bed 3dp/CNC/Laser-Combo device on the market, sells a syringe print head:

I guess the three big improvements over this I would want to see from a similar module in Snapmaker would be:

  1. controllable heating rod (so chocolate or wax could stay liquid during longer prints)
  2. controllable mixing rod (so heat gets evenly distributed and emulsified material stays mixed)
  3. easy dissassembly for cleaning

Yeah but… that thing (the VX which is the 3-in-1) is like triple the price of an A250, and it’s work area doesn’t come close to the A350. With only a 1 year warranty(2 years if you pay an extra $700 WTF) I would NEVER buy something with that price tag.

if you need sound consider an ocotopi an something like this MoonshineSG/OctoPrint-Sound: Play sounds on RaspberryPi on M300 (github.com)

how far is the development of snap-star?
like to build up a glue dispenser unit with a separate dispenser system. need to have a snapmaker start/stop signal for this unit

@peewee no idea, Snapmaker shutdown the roadmap, not like they kept it updated to begin with anyway so…
