Is The Snapmaker 2 Temprature Sensative?

Hey All,

I was wondering… is it better to have your machine indoors or can it run alright in an outside workshop? The workshop is well built and has some insulation, but it can get crazy hot in the summer time (110 degrees/43 c) and pretty cold in the winter (17 degrees/-8.3 c). Will those temperatures shorten the life of the machine? Thanks for any advice!

Probably not an issue for the lifespan of the machine, but if you’re lasering, you’ll want an enclosure for the fumes, and in the colder times, you may have trouble with 3d printing issues (again, an enclosure would help with too cold).

Overall, you should be fine, but an enclosure will be better.

Good to know! I did buy an enclosure, so that should do it. Thanks!
