Hi, I use Octoprint (running op RaspberryPi) to manage 3d prints and watch progress through a webcam. Is it possible to start/manage laserjobs as well ? I am planning to try to generate a gcode file through luban vor the laser, send it to OctoPi and let is process, but I dont want to damage the machine. Has anyone tried this already ?
I think you need to change the file extension from .nc to .gcode to get octoprint to process your file.
Havent ever tried it but should work, its the same way luban sends gcode so what should happen. Give it a try.
