I have Problems with layer inconsistancy. The inconsistancy isn’t that big, and only visible when the model is viewed from certain angles, but then it is very noticable.
The problem looks worse on the Picture than in real life.
I use the latest firmware on an A350 from about Summer/Autumn2020.
I use Super Slicer. I haven’t convigured Linear Advance. I’ve set backlash compensation to 0.2 for x y and z.
What should i do to fix this?
I printed at the benchy at 50/30 mm/s for the walls and 50 mm/s for infill (It is the profile that Edwin posted).
There is backlash that is bit noticable, when moving the x axis, I haven’t checked on the y axis, because the whole bed just wobbles.
How do you tighten the carriers of the linear modules? Is this the right tutorial:
If you’re printing PLA, in my experience over multiple printers, you’re printing way too fast. Wry 25mm/sec print speed. Also, could be nozzle temp. With some dialing-in, I got far better results with boaty. OTOH, I’m now doing PETG exclusively, and since this is my 3rd printer, I’ve learned a bit about dialing things in. Also, filament brand does make a difference, as does filament humidity. There’s still a fair amount of magic involved in getting good prints.
