hi
only just received myA350 yesterday and have been having non stop issues 3d printing with extrusion not coming out during printing and it seems to get jammed.
So after following the suggestions in these forums by adjusting retraction and z-hop thinking its a nozzle blocking and try to avoid it.
After more failed prints (printing the vase example that came with software) I changed the nozzle. However the newly replace nozzle now failed to heat up past 190-6 c . So i checked to make sure the cables were okay and found cable had come loose on both nozzles (see photo)
any advice ?
The loose cable is the thermistor that provides the temperature readings for the controller. The fact that it comes out easily is not good. You can put it back with some thermal paste to allow for better fitting and heat conductivity.
thanks. i’ll give that a go. The thermistor cable is much shorter than the others which is not a great design, i guess tension plus heat made it loose
cheers
does it just attach to the metal …i need to see a photo of how it originally is. mine is short so cant insert into anything so just guessing it needs to touch the side ?
If the thermistor cables are too short you might need to contact support for a replacement.
just an update…support said it just sits loose in the hole. so i will make sure it doesn’t come out nxt time change the nozzle !
