A350 Nozzle Temp Issues

Hello Everybody.

Let’s cut to the chase. Today I wanted to replace my nozzle to the 0.6mm MK8 Brass one from Brozzl.
I didn’t figure out at first that I should unscrew the existing nozzle and screw in a new one.
Instead, I took out the whole nozzle kit and replaced it with the spare one with the new nozzle screwed in.

At first, the temperature shown on the screen was -30 degrees, so I took the whole Kit out and discovered that one small wire for the thermal sensor came out of its sleeve, I put it in and since I did that the temperature on any nozzle I fit in (I have 3 nozzle kits in total) show from 799 to 806 degrees!

Since that the printer won’t move a milimeter. I tried to factory reset it but since the second step is the auto-levelling I stuck.

I have tried to open up the 3d printing module to assess if the nozzle is correctly connected to the plate, and everything seems fine.

The only issue seems to be the wrong temperature measurement.

Any idea on what could be an issue?

Thank you all in advance for any advice.

You mentioned the wire came out - was it reconnected successfully? Typically a low temp would indicate a short (low resistance across the thermistor), but a high temp would indicate a bad connection (high resistance across the thermistor)

I will say Yes. It must have been connected correctly, and the reason I say this is that even if I used brand new spare part that went straight into a position without moving anything still didn’t improve anything.

The error still occures.

As an addition, I’ll add that since I moved axis by hand(on turned off the machine) currently I cannot do anything.

Auto-levelling function doesn’t work as well as any attempt to move any axis using touch-screen fails too.

I am quite confused as well as pissed off -,-

Is this also the case with the laser / cnc toolhead attached?

Make sure you have the hot end plugged in fully and correctly?

So I tried other tool heads, and everything working correctly with them.

Only when the 3d Printer is attached I cannot “home”, or move, or do anything with it.

And the temperature is still showing 800 degrees…

Sounds like something is shorted out and nonfunctioning. Contact support.

The 800 degree reading is the thermistor shorted out.

If it’s not homing, you could check the log export from the machine, but I bet it’ll say there’s no executor (what the firmware calls the toolhead) and has locked the machine.

I think you need to reach out to support because it sounds like you need a new toolhead.

That is exactly what I did, just waiting for they answer
Anyway, thanks for all your help.
