Hot End 'heatbreak' "falls" through the module's bay

The Hot End on the Artisan 3D Print Module slowly “falls through” the bottom and gets stuck. I have had this module for over a year now, so Just trying to trouble shoot and resolve this easily if possible. The bay opening doesn’t look damaged, from what I can tell… it’s possibly just worn down just enough to allow the hot end to do this. It obviously throws an error when it pushes up like this and causes all my prints to stop prematurely.

Hey, there is a screw, if you fasten it everything should be alright.

Same issue here, and honestly, it’s pretty frustrating. I wouldn’t expect something like this on a machine at this price point. The heatbreak falling through the module bay isn’t just an inconvenience — it feels like a fundamental design flaw.

It’s disappointing because otherwise the machine performs well, but little things like this add up and really hurt the overall experience. I had to rig up a temporary fix just to keep printing, which isn’t what I signed up for.

Really hoping Snapmaker acknowledges this and offers a proper solution or at least an upgraded part down the line.

You don’t mention the screw…

I never had issues with the Hotends.. :man_shrugging:t3:

Thanks for mentioning this, another response brought the screw tightening up. I looked at troubleshooting manual and couldn’t find anything related to this, so I asked here. I will try the screw and see if it works.
