Hi All! My name is Trish, my husband purchased the A350T for Mother’s Day and I am impatiently waiting to get it in the mail. We are so excited. I have been reading and consuming the Wikiposts and Youtube Videos. We are gamers and all-around general nerds. In fact, he is building a lifesize Tardis right now for our Package Drop our front…I guess I will need to build a mini to match Looking forward to talking with you all!
Welcome @LadyLagertha. A Doctor Who fan, awesome. You’ll love the 3d printer and there is a lot of Doctor Who stuff available to print including Darleks
That is outstanding!!! I cannot wait. With all the projects I have in mind, I may have to buy another one just to be able to get to it all.
Hi, my name is Marco, I’m an experienced 3D printer user for some years now. My last printer was a heavily modded Ender 3 Pro.
Have seen Snapmaker ads here and there a lot of times already but never made the move.
Today my F350 arrived.
I am blown away by the quality. Building up the printer was super easy, took me like an hour. The manual has been mentioned in tons of videos but seeing it myself, man, this is something else. Amazing job you did here.
First print is already up and running. Looks good so far. I’m testing the machine for some days and if everything is fine, I’m pretty sure I’m going to upgrade to laser/cnc soon.
Awesome product!!
Hi Alex! Welcome to the forum!
I’m working on making my first homemade PCB just for the fun of saying I did it myself and I’m looking for help with a question I haven’t been able to find answers to in the forum or by way of Google.
Can this Cricut brand vinyl cutting machine be effectively used to make a stencil for masking off traces in order to etch the unnecessary copper off the PCB board? If so what file format needs to be exported to do so?
G’day everyone,
Jon here from the land down under.
Total newby here, but have my hands on a new A350T. Have printed out my first test piece, and now working on a work collaboration, and seeing how it goes.
Very well made, and easy to put together. Look forward to see how it goes.
Hello! Noobest of the noobs here. I’m a 20-year Navy veteran, and am now a couple of years into my second career as a structural engineer. I have a sarcastic streak 40 miles wide, so just let me know if I’ve gone overboard.
So… I’m a bit confused about the nature of some of this forum?
I see a sub-forum called ‘getting started’ and it’s full of things that seem way more advanced than where I’m at. Even a thread called “overwhelmed newbie” is by someone who is already deep into the whole process.
I literally have no idea what to do. I can’t figure out how to even get a slicer that works with both my computer and the printer I just got. Where is the ACTUAL introduction to 3D printing stuff?
Try this one. I can find more if this isn’t what you need or if it’s not newbie enough. I had a hard time trying to figure everything out too ( and still struggle with things). Most people here are more than happy to help when in need.
Hello Eveyone,
greetings from Atlanta Georgia!
Hi, I’m T J Bolt. I’m planing on getting the Artisan . I’m new to this and felt that if I’m making the commitment, I wanted to go all in and not have any regrets later wishing I had gotten all the upgrades.
Right now I need to plan the size of the work area I would need. I would like to find out from current Snapmaker 2.0 uses what the minimal work area would need to be. Thanks in advanced, this will really be helpful.
Hi, I’m terry. A maker from as far back as I can remember. I’ve been a machinist, welder, fabricator, and mechanical designer. I bought my Snapmaker during the kickstarter, but always had access to the same kind of tools at work or at the local maker-space. Now I’m a software developer. I work from home most of the time. I’m unboxing the Snapmaker, hoping it will let me do basic fabrication and prototypes for personal projects at home.
Hello there. I’m Eric, a retired Navy vet. I’ve owned a Snapmaker A350T for about two years now and just realized I never posted here. I just received the rotary module and 10W laser module for Christmas and I’m excited to try them out. I’m looking forward to meeting some new people on here and seeing what kinds of neat things everyone is making with their machines. Feel free to ask me anything. Cheers!
Welcome @Boss302. How are things in Atlana?
Hi @TJBolt, welcome. For work area, are you referring to the work area of the machine, or the work area the machine occupies? If it’s the latter, I have a folding table about 3’x3’ with the machine in the center so the Y-axis can move freely without banging into the wall behind it. I don’t have the enclosure, so I’m not sure of the footprint of that add-on. I hope this helps. Cheers!
Same old same old and now even rainy
You can now use the latest Solid Edge 2023 community Edition for free. There is also a Solid Edge CAM Pro (== old Solid Edge CAM Express) you might use with academic license.
Hello Everyone, My name is Marcus. I am from the Netherlands - Friesland it is called.
I bought a Snapmaker 350 T 2.0 and am very excited to make nice things with it.
I bought a 10W laserunit with it and am considering to buy the rotary unit as well.
Nice to read all the stories of fellow people on this forum. With regards
Hello Everyone,
I joined this forum a while ago, but haven’t used it much. I do have a question about the touchscreen on my A250. How can I transfer files on the touchscreen to my computer? What type of cable does it use? and must it be connected to the power module to work? I haven’t disconnected it because I really need the files and am afraid I will lose them… Help!
Thank you,
Leila
@lei This is not the place to post such questions.
Unfortunately there is no way to export these files, sry.
Hi Everyone,
My name is Randy (and my father Robert may chime in at times).
My father has been using the Snapmaker to print HO scale railroad stuff, and I’ve been looking at getting back into video game making, and using 3D printing to make the digital characters and creatures ‘real’.
Best regards!
Randy
