PS: Behold my 3D printing debut! :blue_heart: :white_heart:

  • Blue attempt = total flop

  • White version? Nailed it! :tada: (Super basic design, but – I did a literal happy dance when it was printed out! :woman_dancing: :man_dancing:)

I’d love to hear your thoughts and see what YOU’RE creating! Drop your WIP pics, fails-turned-wins, or current projects below – let’s fuel each other’s creativity! :fire:

What caused the first failure? Without more info, I’m guessing it detached from the bed?

The left nozzle was clogged.

… that’s impressive that you managed that on your first print. It took me a few years to clog a nozzle.

Hi Sherry, very welcome to the forum - and to the club of people who actually 3D-printed  Are you planning to dip your toe into Laser and Milling also?

Please do not dip toes into lasers and milling machines. :upside_down_face:

Haha, anything’s possible! Though my skills aren’t quite there yet - focusing on 3D printing for now. Will definitely explore laser & CNC in the future!

That upside-down face emoji is speaking volumes! Did some memorable “learning experience” inspire this wisdom?

Appreciate the perspective! Every mishap teaches something new
By the way, what’s the most unexpected clog cause you’ve encountered?

I’ve never had a mishap, but I’ve been working with CNC machines for almost two decades, so I know what they can do. Safety has always been the first thing on my mind with any machinery.

Bienvenue Sherry !
La buse bouchée est étonnante car Xérès ou Sherry, normalement ça descend tout seul.
Bon, je sors
