Guys I am tired of this….please help

Hello,

I ran a software update on my snapmaker 350 and it messed up all my settings and I spent a whole day trying to make this print right but the initial layer just keeps getting messed up, its almost like the material won’t bond with the print bed

And the initial layer just looks awful in general.

Black prints are PLA, as you can see the wont adhere to the bed

the brown material is TPU as you can see it just doesn’t work or flow well at all

I seriously don’t know what to do, please help

Hi,

Your z Level is much to high. Lower that manually.

How and where do I do that?

In workspace; I tried pressing “0.5” and “+” / “-“, but I don’t see any response or value changing

I can’t find anywhere else to change it?

By any chance can you take a screenshot of what your settings on this?

Update:

I think I have found the issue; after the latest software update the bed leveling calibration needs to be way tighter than it was before.

Before the update the calibration sheet should just be rubbing on the nozzle, now the nozzle needs to literally push against the calibration sheet. So you can pull the sheet out from underneath the nozzle but not put it back in under the nozzle.

it would have been nice to know stuff like this when they release an update

Interesting. I have absolutely no Idea how you can use the snapmaker over such a time without knowing where to manually adjust the z level.

While printing or heating, swipe from right on the Touchscreen. A menu will appear where you can adjust parameters live while printing. Like z Level or temperatures.

My dad died shortly after I purchased my printer and I have been dealing with personal problems for the last two years.

I am just getting back into 3D Printing again now
