Glass or PEI surface - which one are you using for which material?

I am a bit spoiled by the smooth PEI print bed surface of my previous Creality printer. It worked perfect without any additional adhesion glue for all of my PLA based prints

Getting the same surface on my prints i would need to flip the Snapmaker print bed surface from structured PEI to the glass surface.

What is your preferred surface you are printing on and for which materials are you using what?
How about bed leveling? Is the automatic option working for the glass surface?

I use the glass surface for all prints because I can better control the bed adhesion and the bottom surface of the print is glassy smooth. I use glue stick for both PLA(+) and PETG.

I am checking it out. Doing all my prints on the PEI surface and they stick well without any support glue.
