First layer printed filament displaced

Do you have multiple computers you connect to the machine with? It could be an issue with that. Sometimes my main computer and laptop will kind of wonk eachother out.

Perhaps try to close lubans, restart the machine, and go about it fresh to see what happens.

i see no reason why it wouldnt work but seeing what the console has to say would help. perhaps its just a fluke, or had something to do with some adjustment that was made that made it stop working right if you touched X or Y or didnt touch Z at all maybe.

I redid the two macros and now it seems to have worked. Don’t know if I had done anything differently. Thanks for your help. I will print a test shortly.

Is it possible to manually adjust z-offset by checking the current value and increase or decrease it with another value sent by code? If for example I have the impression that it is overall a bit to close or to far off?

Thank you.

From an active print job, you can adjust the z-offset by swiping on the screen

if a job isnt running this doesnt work.

i would imagine it can be done with gcode but i do not know the method.

alternatively, if you load a job up but before you hit START, there is an adjust settings button under it, which also works.
