I recently ran into an issue where it appeared my 3D print head was clogged and prints were failing. I decided to swap out the hotend for a spare that came with the machine. The overall process for this is straight forward, and I found a video that demonstrated the process. Once I re-attached the print head, the filament that is coming out of the end is curling up and basically trying to wrap around the tip.
Has anyone else had this issue? Am I missing something here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Nothing to worry about then. I have had it happen during filament loading too; usual just extrusion speed related. The line of filament coming out has virtually now weight to it, nothing to grab onto, and is being pushed out faster than typical print speed. Shouldn’t affect your print, but if it really worries you, try loading it at a temp about 20c higher.
