I’m getting an extra square of machined material even though Luban doesn’t show this as a toolpath. I’ve tried removing the background in powerpoint, but maybe it’s not a true transparent background. And I can’t increase the jog height because Luban won’t let me save a different value.
If you set a different cylinder diameter it could work that the square is not visible.
The same would be if you set the work origin to the false height but I am not familiar with the process for 4th axis engraving.
This means you would have to add the stepdown of the square let’s say 0.5mm to the diameter of your work piece. In this case the carving would be still done but you would not see it afterwards.
Another way would be to vectorize your object or detach the background, do a bit of searching in the www.
Hope it helps!
I’ve tried changing the diameter and while that does help remove the square around the picture, it also messes up the actual engraving that I want to keep. It seems it’s almost guess work to try to get it right, and I need it to be right the first time when I engrave the real workpiece.
