Hello
We Purchased Snapmaker Artisan with its add-ons (Rotary Module, Air Purifier) and received it 3 Days ago, Today, The device is connected to the UPS and Suddenly Both of Them were shut down!
UPS Shows that “The output voltage of the device is outside the defined range of the device.” Subsequently, each time we turn on the Snapmaker artisan Shows the below Message:
As you can see The error code is “2050-8”.
After this message nozzle temperature did not increase. Therefore we have no other choice except to shut down the device.
With best regards.
Hamed.
When does it shut down? When you first power the Artisan on, or when you try to start a print? I assume it’s not happening in the middle of a print.
I wouldn’t expect it to overload the UPS at power on, but I could see it overloading a small UPS if it’s trying to heat the nozzle and bed at the same time.
If you’re getting the same issue with and without the UPS, and the error occurs in the middle of a print (after the initial high draw of heating both the nozzle and the bed), I think that it’s time to open a support call with Snapmaker.
I have the same error “2050-8 Abnormal Power Supply for motion”. Since the last firmware update a few days ago, printer won’t work anymore. Motion and heating of nozzles or bed won’t work anymore. All the problems started with a failing heated bed during a print. After a power cycle, the error appears instantly. I can’t get rid of the error anymore. I opened a support ticket with Snapmaker. I’m still waiting for a satisfying answer.
I think you have the same problem. we contact Snapmaker to solve the problem. they led us to open the controller box and measure the power supply output. we measure the output and And we found that the power supply is broken. The company agreed to send us a new power supply.
